Tourist Route Kremnica - Tri kríže - Skalka

Kremnica - Tri kríže (Three Crosses) - Skalka Kremnica /542m/ - crossroad with yellow tourist trail /598m/(0,15hrs) - Tri studene (Three Wells) /880m/(1,00hrs) - Trojica /1035m/ (1,45hrs) - chalet Hostinec /1200m/(2,15hrs) - Tri kríže (Three Crosses) saddle /1182m/(2,30hrs) - Velestúr /1254m/(2,50hrs) -Králické saddle /1185m/ (4,05hrs) - Bystrické saddle /1190m/(4,35hrs) - Skalka recreational center /1165m/(5,05hrs).

This convenient route starts from Kremnica with some beautiful views of Skalka, goes nearby nature reserve Bujačia Lúka (Bull Meadow), then by tourist chalet Hostinec, up on the main ridge of Kremnica Mountains. Tri kríže saddle, peak of Zlatá studňa (Golden Well), Králické saddle, Bystrické saddle are another orientational spots on this route till its end, which is Skalka. The route's starting point is on the main crossroad in Kremnica. You start along the blue and yellow trail and together with educational trail you pass by nature reserve Bujačia Lúka. You cross railway track and go up to Tri studne. Then you ascend through forest undergrowth and come to tourist chalet Hostinec (not in operation). Nearby it, there is a spring with drinking water and a pleasant rest area. The route still continues along the blue trail through forest. You come to Tri kríže saddle and through interesting forest scenery you get to Zlatá studňa. After rapid descent you come on broad forest pathway, which is a part of skiing and tourist route Skalka - Kraliky. Along it, in slight ascents and descents via Králické saddle, Mýtny (Toll) Hill and Bystrické saddle you end up the route in Skalka. Comeback to Kremnica is also possible along the yellow trail via Partizan (Partizánska) Valley.
